Teamviewer Corporate Design with your logo and text
Custom TeamViewer Modules with Your Branding If you’re a Managed Service Provider who is delivering IT support remotely to your customers, TeamViewer 10 has a great new feature for you – greater customization of TeamViewer modules. But first, a summary of the problem that has been addressed.
If you’re offering remote support to a customer, chances are you’ll need to talk him or her through installing some sort of remote control software, in order for you to get onto their system and see what’s going on. You may have used the new TeamViewer API to bake the service directly into your existing product offering, but aside from that, you’ll need them to install something.
In the beginning…
A long time ago, TeamViewer made this step super simple by introducing the QuickSupport module, which provided your customer with an easy way of allowing remote support (this module doesn’t need to be installed, simply run). Later, TeamViewer introduced the URL connect.teamviewer.com, which has your customer automatically download the right QuickSupport module for their operating system. Now, as easy as it is over the telephone to explain to some one, “please go to connect.teamviewer.com, and…” this often lead to questions from the customer’s end. “But aren’t you from Justin Wagg Media, who’s this TeamViewer and why am I installing it?” Or, “I don’t want some third party’s software on my computer, don’t you have your own solution”?
And then came along customized TeamViewer modules.
Several years ago, TeamViewer introduced the ability to create customized QuickSupport, QuickJoin and Host modules. With these customized modules, you could create custom modules with your company’s logo, and edit some of the text found in the module. Last year, TeamViewer gave customers the ability to create these modules through the TeamViewer Management Console as well. With the introduction of TeamViewer 10, TeamViewer made this feature even more valuable. Please visit at : https://www.teamviewer.com/en/download/customdesign.aspx
A new layout makes it even easier and more intuitive to create custom modules.
The download page for the module is automatically branded with your company logo and color scheme, with the information pulled directly from the module’s settings.
Although the customized modules aren’t a true white-label product; the TeamViewer branding present is subtle. This makes it that much easier for you to offer your support services to your customers, leaving them feeling like they’ve received your excellent support, from the company they were expecting to receive it from.
